After St Govan's, Skomer. Actually, the land centre picture is Midland Isle, Skomer is just behind. Very imaginative name, don't you think? Why not Midisle? That is exactly what it is. That stretch of water to Midland Isle is very treacherous. Soon after our vist here a tourist boat taking people to see the Puffins on Skomer got itself holed on the rocks. Fortunately nobody was hurt.

Another tiny, tiny place. Just an expensive hotel and a couple of farms, which is great cause you get the place pretty much to yourself every day.

I have it on good authority that parking your ocean going ship here doesn't cost you anything, unlike around the corner in Milford Haven where they have traffic wardens ticketing any randomly moored ships.

A short walk south from Newgale Sands along the cliff path. Small rollers are coming ashore today, but they have travelled a long way judging by their long, regular wave length.
